The Firearms Concierge, known for their firearms related tours in the Sonoran Desert, provided some range safety.
BestDronage at www.bestdronage.com provided the aerial and ground videography. Their drones are amazing and deliver awesome 4K video that allow for unique firearms related perspectives!”
Zev Nadler – owner operator of BestDronage Aerial and Ground Videography.
Zev Nadler was a Senior Manager with a large IT consulting firm before he semi-retired to Scottsdale in 1999. A year later he started an IT Consulting firm in Scottsdale that he sold in 2006.
Deciding that retirement didn’t suit him, he started Desert Wolf Tours as a means to be outdoors and behind off-road vehicles and firearms. Seeking a cutting-edge way to introduce people to an outdoor experience, Zev introduced Sonoran Desert Tours while Self-Piloting in a convoy.
Also, as The Firearms Concierge, Zev raised the bar from the other tour operators’ .22 wheel guns pointed at cans, by bringing AR15s and Glock 17s to over 9,000 tourists since 2007.
Zev has since identified a niche in the drone, or aerial videography production of firearms related events and is busy providing those services right here in Arizona with an eye to the other 49…but he says with a knowing wink, “excluding NY, and NJ :)”, where the peoples’ rights to keep and bear arms have been eroded with rights-restricting laws.
Deb DeSpain – Mom, Registered Nurse, 3-Gun Competitor, NRA Certified Instructor, Gun Girl Gladiator, and part of the 2016 DC Project.
Says Deb: “I have two wonderful adult children. I really can’t remember a time that I didn’t know how to shoot a pistol. I am a NRA instructor for pistol, rifle, shotgun, along with personal protection inside and outside the home. Long before my certifications I had to protect myself when I woke up with a man standing at the end of my bed with the rope planning to rape and kill me. My 38 snubnose revolver saved my life which had been a gift from our local sheriff. I am an amateur three gun shooter and participated in the Bianchi Cup 2016. The Bianchi Cup was very humbling because I’m shooting among the best of the best where 10 countries are represented!”
Robyn Sandoval – Manager of A Girl And A Gun (AG&AG), came into the Firearms Industry by an unusual path. Robyn is a converted anti-gunner, who nervously attended Julianna Crowder’s third Girl’s Night Out in March 2011. Six months later, she joined the AG & AG leadership team and built the infrastructure and operating procedures from the ground up to enable the organization’s rapid growth (650% in 26 months). Robyn recently shared her journey and her story resonated so deeply in those who read it, on both sides of the Gun Debate, that her blog article went viral on social media — being viewed more than 200,000 times in only 3 days.
Robyn Sandoval is an unlikely gun owner. She was raised in a large city, and always assumed that first responders were only a phone call away and local grocery stores would have needed supplies on hand. After 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina, she began to casually store items in case of an economic or environmental disaster in her community. One day her husband asked, “If something bad happens and we have to shelter in place, how are we going to stop someone from breaking in and taking our stuff?”
For many years Robyn struggled with the decision to bring a firearm into the home with three children. In 2010, she finally conceded to the purchase of one gun to be used only in an emergency situation. She wanted to learn how to use her new gun, so she nervously attended AG&AG’s Girl’s Night Out.
Robyn participated as a Member before joining the Board of Directors as the Technology Director just 6 months later. She was instrumental growing the organization, improving member communication, and developing a chapter onboarding program. As the Executive Director, Robyn manages the day-to-day operations of the organization. Her passion stems from her belief in the organization’s mission to bring more “everyday” women to the range. Robyn is a Certified NRA Instructor for Pistol Shooting, Home Firearm Safety, and Personal Protection in the Home. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Magna Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University.
