Dr Joe Heck is a Physician, Small Business Owner, US Brigadier General, and Congressman serving Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District
Dr Joe Heck wears many hats and has many accomplishments including:
What is his record?
Jobs and economy
Passed law to clean and develop abandon mine site to create 3,000 jobs in Nevada at no cost to taxpayers.
National security and veterans
What will Dr. Heck do in U.S. Senate?
Dr. Heck will continue to use his real-world experience and expertise on the most important issues to build a stronger Nevada. He will stand for our Constitutional rights, restore checks and balances, and support Supreme Court justices who will interpret the Constitution as it was written.
Does he support Nevada Background Checks for Gun Purchases Initiative, Question 1 (2016)?
Dr. Joe Heck has always supported the rights of law-abiding citizens to own and bear arms. Although he has and will continue to support efforts to keep guns out of the hands of criminals, the severely mentally ill, and those who may seek to harm our communities or themselves, he is opposed to the measure that will appear on the November ballot because it proposes a system that makes it more difficult to buy, sell, and lend firearms among friends, family, and other law-abiding citizens without evidence that it would keep guns out of the hands of those with an intent to commit, or propensity for, violence. Dr. Heck has a concealed carry permit, an A rating from the NRA and is a lifetime member.
Kelli is an osteopathic physician and politician who has served as the Chair of the Arizona Republican Party since 2019.
She also served in the Arizona State Senate from 2012 to 2015.
Republican Dr. Kelli Ward of Lake Havasu City is a former Arizona state senator who, during her two terms in the state legislature, established a proven track record of passing legislation that supported small businesses, preserved the Second Amendment, decreased the size of government, addressed the opioid crisis, protected vulnerable Arizona students, and fought Common Core. She was one the most effective leaders in the Arizona State Senate during her final year in office, getting 19 separate bills through the legislature and to the governor’s desk to be signed into law.
Dr. Ward is running in 2018 to fill the open U.S. Senate seat vacated by retiring Sen. Jeff Flake. She is a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump and a true advocate for the America First agenda.
Dr. Ward earned her BS in psychology from Duke University, her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, and her master’s degree in public health from A.T. Still University. She lives in Lake Havasu City with her husband and fellow doctor, Mike Ward, along with their three children –Cameron, Katie, and Nick, plus little dog, Rosie.
As an Arizona State Senator, Dr. Ward, was one of the most committed Conservatives in the legislature and introduced the Arizona Fourth Amendment Protection Act, which would “ban the state from engaging in activities which help the NSA carry out their warrantless data-collection programs, or even make use of the information on a local level.” Respected Conservative website Breitbart.com calls her “a rising star.”
Dr. Ward is smart, determined, energetic, personable and dedicated to service to the citizens of Arizona. She is exactly what Arizonans need in these difficult times —someone fresh, bold and exciting and honest to the core.
Dave is an East Coast transplant, a former computer programmer and a family man. Dave spends his time restoring and protecting the right to keep and bear arms through legislative lobbying. He is a strong voice protecting Arizonans against anti-rights groups and legislation that seek to limit our freedoms.
Dave works closely with the legislature to get strong pro-rights bills written and passed into law, while stopping freedom restricting bills, earning Arizona the reputation for being the friendliest state for gun owners. Significant amongst AzCDL’s many successes was the 2010 “Constitutional Carry” bill, restoring the ability of law-abiding adult citizens to carry openly or concealed without government permission. Dave is passionate about the work he does and is a sought-after speaker and knowledgeable resource in the firearms community.
One of his favorite quotes explains why Dave is a dedicated and driven champion for Arizona firearm owners: “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”– Edmund Burke
The AzCDL is where grassroots activists take a stand, working at the Arizona legislature, to get strong pro-rights bills written and passed into law, while stopping bad bills.
