Senator Sylvia Allen Arizona Legislative District 6
Senator Sylvia Allen is a 5th generation Arizonan. Senator Allen currently serves as the State Senator for Arizona Legislative District 6, which spans from Snowflake to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Senator Allen has deep ties to Northern Arizona with strong family roots in the White Mountains. She has been happily married to Richard Allen, her high school sweetheart. They have five married children and 19 grandchildren. Senator Allen has a long history as a small business owner, realtor, community activist and public servant.
Senator Allen currently serves as the Senate Education Committee Chairman where she fights for a strong public education for our children. She is also President Pro Tempore of the Senate and serves as the Vice Chair of the Water & Energy Committee and Government Committee. Senator Allen is also a member of the vitally important Appropriations Committee.
