Bill Wilson serves as the CEO of PrairieFire.
He previously served 28 years in the US Navy as a SEAL Officer, retiring as a Captain in 2014. He served as a Platoon Commander at SEAL Teams One and Three, BUD/S 3rd Phase Officer, Element and Team Leader at Naval Special Warfare Development Group, multiple tours as an Operations Officer in Joint and Combined Task Forces, and served as Commanding Officer at SEAL Team One, Naval Special Warfare Center and Special Operations Task Groups in the Middle East.
After retiring from the Navy in 2014, Bill started a second career in the software industry. In
2017 he co-founded Alchemy, a software services company targeted to higher education
Bill Wilson and Craig Kozeniesky served together in Iraq at multiple Special Operations Task Forces prior to their respective retirements. Today, Bill finds deep purpose in building teams and helping individuals achieve their potential. He is an avid shooter and hunter.
Craig Kozeniesky is the Vice President of PrairieFire.
Craig served 28 years in the U.S. Marine
Corps, retiring as a Colonel and as Deputy Commander of MARSOC. Throughout his career, he served in the USMC infantry, reconnaissance, and joint special operations assignments. He served as a foreign exchange officer with the British Royal Marine Commandos, as well as the Norwegian Army. He is a plank owner of the USMC Initial Force Contribution to U.S. Special Operations Command, Marine Corps SOCOM Detachment ONE (Det ONE), leading Task Unit Raider under Naval Special Warfare Task Group-Arabian Peninsula. He commanded 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, deploying to the western Pacific and to Ar Ramadi, Iraq for OF during the ‘Anbar Awakening’.
As Commanding Officer of Camp Fuji, Japan, he led ‘Task Force Fuji’ in disaster relief
operations at the Sendai Airport as part of Operation Tomodachi from March-April 2011 in
response to the earthquake and tsunami disaster. He served with a joint special operations task force based in Ft. Bragg, NC, deploying to Afghanistan.
Following his military career, Craig worked in the private sector and government contracting, as well as for the Nevada Secretary of State Office. He has been an avid outdoorsman and shooting practitioner his whole life. He and his wife are proud parents of two sons – one of whom served as a Marine infantryman. The other is a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center, an Olympic Silver Medalist, a member of the US national rifle team, and a passionate supporter of USA shooting sports.
Lanny Barnes is a three-time Olympian in Biathlon and is a National & World Champion in several shooting disciplines.
Lanny is currently teaching courses to military, law enforcement and competitive shooters on the physiological and psychological aspects of shooting.
She is also the director of Commercial Sales for HIVIZ Sights. Lanny has been a professional artist since 2000 and Lanny & her twin sister, Tracy, spend a majority of their free time traveling around to schools, 4-H clubs, Boys & Girls Clubs, etc. talking to them about following their dreams, setting goals, and leading a healthy active lifestyle.
Lanny also takes wounded vets and terminally ill kids on hunts through Freedom Hunters and OE4A.
