As an avid outdoorsman, Bill enjoys pursuits for blacktail deer in Alaska and his home state of California, wild turkey pheasant, wild pig and spearfishing. Being from California he is well aware of how important it is to preserve our Second Amendment Rights. That makes his work with NSSF, where he helps with media outreach, building partnerships, and highlighting the great work the great work the firearms industry is doing to promote gun safety, both a job and a passion.
Bill is also an author, having co-authored with Craig DeMartino “After the Fall: A Climber’s True Story of Facing Death and Finding Life”.
This inspiring book is about: “Craig DeMartino who was 100 feet up a cliff in Rocky Mountain National Park when―with one step―his 13 years of rock climbing experience and 15 pounds of gear plummeted with him to the ground. Expert climbers say that if you fall 10 feet you have a 10% chance of dying, a 20% chance at 20 feet, 30% at 30, and so on. Craig fell 100 feet. By basic calculation, Craig should not be alive today. But he is. For anyone who has been knocked down or run over by life, After the Fall not only offers an engaging read but also provides a clear message of hope: sometimes the greatest gift we can receive isn’t just healing, but the power to endure.”

As a certified NRA pistol instructor, she trains women that have little to no experience or have had a negative experience, in an environment where they can feel comfortable and confident in handling a firearm. She promotes personal safety and situation awareness through a one hour presentation (Cellphones, Flashlights and Bullets). For over 10 years, Cyndee has been a CCW holder and spent countless hours of training in defensive pistol. She is a certified instructor for “Refuse to be a Victim”, member of NRA, The Well Armed Women and Arizona Women’s Shooting Association.
From Cyndee: “I have been developing and manufacturing my purse line for three years. In the process I have taken classes and received certifications in different areas of personal safety and situation awareness. There is a hug gap between the average citizen and a CCW permit holder as far as awareness. There are so many ways that we can be safe and aware of our surroundings, that is why I launched “Not Your Victim“. This is a series of classes that address how to be safe in public, at home and in the workplace. My objective is to teach people how to say, “Move along, I am not your victim, today”. This is possible through verbal and non verbal communication, we just need to know how. I teach the principle, “Your body can no do what your mind has never considered”. Now is the time to consider our personal safety.”
