Our guests today are Congressman Andy Biggs and former Arizona State Senator Sine Kerr (pronounced SEE-nah).
Congressman Biggs currently represents Arizona’s Fifth Congressional District and previously served in both chambers of the Arizona Legislature, including as Arizona Senate President. He is now the Republican nominee for Governor of Arizona.
Joining him is Sine Kerr, his running mate and the Republican nominee for Arizona’s newly created office of Lieutenant Governor. Sine served in the Arizona Senate from 2018 through 2025, including as Senate Majority Whip, and most recently served as Arizona State Executive Director of the USDA Farm Service Agency. A fourth-generation dairy farmer with her husband Bill, she brings decades of experience in agriculture, rural Arizona, water policy, business, and public service.
1) Representative Biggs, let’s start with your choice of Sine. This is the first time in Arizona history that gubernatorial candidates have selected running mates, so you weren’t simply choosing someone to help win an election—you were helping define an entirely new office. What qualities were you looking for in Arizona’s first Lieutenant Governor, and what convinced you that Sine Kerr was the right person for that role?
2) Sine, let’s turn that around. You had already served seven years in the Arizona Senate, risen to Majority Whip, worked in agriculture for decades, and then moved into a federal role with USDA. Why did you say yes—and what do you believe you bring to this partnership that complements Andy’s experience and perspective?
3) Arizona voters created the Lieutenant Governor’s office, but many probably still don’t know exactly what that person will do beyond being next in the line of succession. If elected, how do the two of you envision dividing responsibilities, and what substantive role would Lieutenant Governor Kerr have in a Biggs administration?
4) Our GunFreedomRadio audience is particularly concerned about the Second Amendment and personal safety. Arizona has long had a strong tradition of firearm ownership and Constitutional Carry. What would your administration’s approach be to protecting Second Amendment rights while addressing public safety, violent crime, school security, and the safety of Arizona families?
5) Affordability seems to be what my friends and neighbors are most concerned with. If Arizonans gave you the keys to the Governor’s Office tomorrow, what is the top priority each of you would want to begin working on immediately?
6) Sine, you bring something particularly important to this ticket: decades of firsthand experience in agriculture and rural Arizona. Water, land use, housing, energy, and growth are all colliding as Arizona continues to develop. How do we protect Arizona’s agricultural heritage and water resources while still allowing our communities and economy to grow?
7) Finally, you’re asking voters to elect you not simply as two individual candidates, but as a Governor–Lieutenant Governor team. How do you connect with the wide, diverse, and uniquely Arizonan voters—who are Republicans, Independents, Democrats, and people who are simply frustrated with politics?
8) How do people follow the Biggs-Kerr campaign and learn more about your policy platform?
