Knox Williams is the President and Executive Director of the American Suppressor Association (ASA), a non-profit trade association which represents the suppressor industry. Williams was an integral component of the formation of the ASA in September, 2011. Through his efforts with the ASA, Williams has worked alongside the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) to pass pro-suppressor legislation across the country. Since the ASA’s formation, 30 pro-suppressor laws or regulations have been enacted.
Prior to the development of the ASA, Williams was the Special Projects coordinator at Advanced
Armament Corporation, a suppressor manufacturer and subsidiary of Remington Arms Company. Williams has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Georgia, is a member of the CSF’s Chairman’s Club, is an Endowment Member of the NRA, and is an Eagle Scout.
