Jeff Fine is the Maricopa County Clerk of the Court where he serves the fourth largest metropolitan population in the United States. His primary focus in the courts has been leading teams that improve efficiency, access to justice and customer service. He also has a track record of protecting tax dollars by championing smart initiatives based on best practices and leveraging of technology.
Jeff has over 20 years of leadership experience in the courts as an administrator, judge, hearing officer, supervisor and enforcement officer with prior experience as a police officer and corrections officer.
He is also a military veteran with 28 years of combined active and reserve duty in the United States Air Force including deployment in support of the War on Terrorism. Jeff currently serves as a member of the Arizona Fair Justice for All Task Force, Arizona Digital Evidence Task Force, Arizona Committee on Limited Jurisdiction Courts, Arizona Committee on Judicial Education and Training, Arizona Commission on Access to Justice Limited Jurisdiction Workgroup, Arizona Judicial Staff Education Committee, Maricopa County Justice Coordinating Committee and Maricopa County Smart Justice Council.
The story of Jeff Fine is one of family, faith and decades of service to his country and community as a police officer, court administrator, justice of the peace, hearing officer, court enforcement officer and corrections officer. He is also a decorated military veteran with over two decades of combined active and reserve duty in the armed forces including deployment in support of the War on Terrorism in the Middle East. He knows firsthand what it means to serve and defend our country, uphold our laws and administer justice, and he cares deeply about our country and community.
Jeff was the Republican nominee for Clerk of the Court in 2018 and won the General Election in Maricopa County where he now serves the fourth largest metropolitan population in the United States. His primary focus in the courts has been leading teams that improve efficiency, access to justice and customer service. He also has a track record of protecting tax dollars by championing smart initiatives based on best practices and leveraging of technology. Because of his experience and commitment to improvement, Jeff is regularly asked to present at court training events both locally and nationally and has served on over a dozen state and county task forces and committees.
His hobbies include target shooting, classic American vehicles, American motorcycles and serving as volunteer director of video ministries and as a men’s group leader for Summit Community Church. He is married to Kori Fine, a nurse educator with Grand Canyon University. He and his wife have four children including a daughter in the armed forces and one grandchild.
