John Kolis is the author of Pistol Practice: The Shooting Range Guidebook that Teaches you How to Practice.
John is an Air Force veteran, long-time recreational shooter, and an NRA and USCCA certified instructor. He has extensive classroom and one -on-one teaching experience. In 2020, he retired from a career in Information Technology, finished his book, and has been engaged in firearms education full time. John lives just outside of Boston with his wife of 30 years where they raised their two children. He makes frequent trips to Texas to visit his son and escape the Northeast.
