The Dust Never Settles“, which is her true, first-hand account of serving as an emergency responder at ground zero in New York on 9/11.

Stacey was a police patrol officer on Long Island on 9/11, and as a member of a federal disaster response team that was always ready to deploy in the event of a major disaster, Stacey was immediately activated for duty with the federal government, and reported to the heart of chaos, right in the middle of Ground Zero, where she spent the next 23 days.

On the 20th anniversary of 9/11 Stacey Goodman decided to share her unique view from the heart of Ground Zero with the world, so everyone could better understand the sacrifices made by everyone on the ground to help the wounded and dying, and to recover the dead. Her account is preserved in her new book, The Dust never Settles.
