Helen Moore is the Executive Director of TWAW Shooting Chapters Inc dba Armed Women of America.

The mission of Armed Women of America is to enable women to be their own self-protector, creating freedom, peace of mind, and confidence in themselves.

Helen Moore started her career in the travel industry, working first as a station manager for a regional airline before joining Sheraton Hotels as a Director of Sales & Marketing. In 1989 Helen shifted her path to nonprofit management. She has served in a leadership role for such organizations as Linn County CASA, Inc., Water for Life Inc. and the National Pawnbrokers Association.

Helen attended Oregon State University, where she majored in History. She graduated at the top of her class from Northwest Schools with a certificate in Tour and Travel.

Helen is a fourth generation Oregonian and has lived in California, Texas, Kentucky and Arizona. She has a daughter and one precious grandson, Lucas. In her spare time Helen enjoys reading, the outdoors, and water sports.
