50 women, one from each state, gathered on the West Lawn of the Capitol Building for The DC Project Rally on Friday, July 8, 2016 to share why the Second Amendment is important to them. The DC Project is a nonpartisan, grassroots initiative to encourage women to establish relationships with their legislators, and reveal the faces and stories of firearms owners and 2nd Amendment supporters.
One of the Speakers, Cheryl Todd, is a gun store owner, of AZFirearms.com, and talk radio host of Gun Freedom Radio, but more importantly she is a wife, mother and grandmother.
She shares in this video how protecting the Second Amendment is a Legacy issue and she feels the weight of preserving American Values for future generations. She ends her speech with Ronald Reagan’s quote “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.” #DCProject
