Rick Travis serves as the Programs Director of the California Rifle and Pistol Association (CRPA).
Rick brings 30 years of public service to his position of working with organizations, businesses, government and most importantly our membership. His passion for the Second Amendment and the shooting sports is evident through his work with hunters, youth organizations (Boy Scouts of America, FFA, 4-H and Church youth programs), clubs, ranges and National Organizations. Rick is responsible for the development, implementation and growth of programs designed to meet the needs of gun owners in California. Rick develops and coordinates the CRPA’s programs and works with California’s Hunting and Sport Shooting organizations to advance the sport.
Shane Meisel is the trade marketing manager for Leupold & Stevens, the world’s dominant performance optics company.
Shane is also a volunteer firefighter and hunting enthusiast. He is a native of Oregon with a bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Oregon and his MBA from Portland State University. He spends his free time in the woods or on the range.

Ashlee Lundvall spoke on the 2017 CPAC “Armed & Fabulous” Panel, moderated by Katie Pavlich. Ashlee is an inspirational speaker, author, and outdoor writer, as well as a National Pro Staffer for Mossy Oak, a member of the NRA’s Disabled Shooting Sports committee, and the recipient of the 2017 SCI Foundation Pathfinder Award. She is passionate about mentoring newly injured patients, protecting the 2A rights of the disability community, and passing on her love for adapted outdoor recreation.
Ashlee was an active teenager and four-sport athlete when she was injured in a ranching accident in 1999 while attending a youth camp in Wyoming. A tragic fall onto the wooden handle of a pitchfork blew out her back at T-12, resulting in a complete spinal cord injury and the introduction of a wheelchair to her life. After moving to Wyoming with her husband, Russ, in 2007, Ashlee quickly immersed herself in the amazing outdoor adventures provided by the mountainous region, and in 2008 helped found Wyoming Disabled Hunters.
Maj Toure is a Solutionary Hip Hop artist and activist from North Philly. His following began after he was featured on the cover of the Philadelphia Weekly as “the Prophet of Philadelphia.” He founded the Black Guns Matter movement in 2015 and advocates for 2nd amendment education and information for urban communities. Maj has been featured in the New York Times, Breitbart News, National Public Radio, and NRANews for his out of the box approach to 2nd amendment advocacy.
Mandy Deveno is a shooting sports enthusiast, avid hunter, NRA Instructor, and supporter of the 4-H Shooting Sports Program.
Mandy is married and the mother of two children, Nathan 12, and Anna 10, who also enjoy the shooting sports. She grew up in Wisconsin in a hunting family were firearms safety was ingrain at a young age. Mandy enjoys teaching firearms safety classes, especially to women and youth.
